Decision-makers often require access to timely and accurate information. However, recent polls reveal that trust in media in the US is currently at its lowest point in the past 50 years. With a rise in misinformation cases, nearly three-quarters of American adults believe news media contributes to political polarization, while nearly half express little trust in their ability to report news fairly and accurately.
