AJ Bell Investment Director, Russ Mould, said in a report that while the Fed cut interest rates by 50 basis points, the Bank of England will make its interest rate decision tonight, but is not expected to follow suit. He said that after the rate cut in August, there is not enough reason for the Bank of England to cut rates again, and markets are predicting an 80% chance of the interest rate staying unchanged.
