According to Cointelegraph, K33 Research analyst David Zimmerman believes that the Sui network could become a strong competitor to Solana, thanks to its technological advantages and the upcoming launch of its native gaming platform, SuiPlay0x1.
While Sui boasts a theoretical transaction speed of 297,000 per second, far exceeding Solana's 65,000, actual performance remains to be tested. Additionally, Sui faces a challenge with its token supply, with only 27% currently in circulation, potentially leading to selling pressure as more tokens become unlocked in the future.
The upcoming launch of SuiPlay0x1 could significantly boost the ecosystem's appeal.
Coingecko data reveals that Sui has surged by 35.1% in the past week, currently trading at $1.38 per token. SOL is trading at $138 per token.
