Golden Finance reports that Phantom has announced on platform X that it will be adding a username feature. This allows users to create a Phantom identity, send crypto to other Phantom users, and synchronize accounts across devices.

Phantom will be rolling out usernames in the coming days, with early access for users who joined Phantom earlier ("OGs"). Eligible users will receive a banner in their wallet with an official claim link.

Usernames are an optional feature, allowing users to personalize their wallet experience while not compromising privacy.
