The 金色财经 (Gold Finance) reported that a policy-focused private roundtable on Bitcoin was held on Wednesday afternoon by the Digital Chamber of Commerce, an industry organization, and the office of U.S. Congressman Wiley Nickel.
The meeting was organized for House Democrats interested in learning more about the largest cryptocurrency and its legislative approaches. Attendees included eight Democratic House members (names not disclosed) and executives from Riot Platforms, Baker Mckenzie, Auradine, TeraWulf, Sustainable BTC, and CleanSpark.
Topics discussed included the use of BTC for financial inclusion, mining and energy sustainability, and competition with China. The meeting was reportedly productive, with members asking good questions, actively participating, and expressing a desire to learn more.
