On October 2nd, Startale CEO Sota Watanabe posted on X, stating: "Since announcing the transition from the Astarzk EVM to Soneium, one of the most common questions is about the future direction of Astar and the role of the ASTR token. This change represents the first of two stages in the Astar Evolution. The second stage has been determined by the Astar Foundation, and we are now entering the execution phase."

Currently, the team is considering several potential development directions and wants to discuss them with the community. These directions include ASTR as an ecosystem asset; ASTR as a DeFi asset; ASTR as a currency in consumer applications with AA; and ASTR for improving the security of the Soneium infrastructure.
