Over 20 Industry Professionals Write to Harris Campaign Seeking Meeting This Month to Discuss Crypto Policy
ChainCatcher reports that, according to The Block, several crypto industry leaders have requested a meeting with the campaign policy team of Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz this month to discuss policy recommendations that promote innovation and inclusion.
In a letter sent to the campaign policy team on Tuesday, signatories including Cleve Mesidor, founder of the Nat'l policy Network WOC Blockchain, Olayinka Odeniran, founder of the Black Women in Blockchain Council, and Tonya Evans, a professor at Penn State Dickinson Law, called for a regulatory framework for Web3 and DeFi that encourages American innovation. Over 20 individuals signed the letter.
