Trump Family Crypto Project WLFI Goes Live, Thousands Sign Up for Whitelist on First Day
Trump Family's Crypto Project WLFI Sees "Thousands" Register for Whitelist
World Liberty Financial (WLFI), the cryptocurrency project launched by the Trump family, announced on Tuesday that it has seen "thousands" of registrations for its whitelist since its launch on Monday. The project opened its "KYC" (Know Your Customer) verification service on its website on Monday. The official website stated: "In the United States, this information is only provided to those who are similarly accredited as qualified investors."
Earlier, Donald Trump posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the whitelist registration for his family's DeFi project World Liberty Financial (WLFI) was open to eligible investors. Due to current US policies and regulatory restrictions, WLFI has set up two separate whitelists: one for accredited US investors and another for all non-US individuals.
